Talking Art From Great Heights: Let Kenzo Digital Help You Fall In Love With New York City All Over Again

Summit One Vanderbilt, in collaboration with artist Kenzo Digital, aims to impress even the most jaded New Yorker. This is not your typical skyscraper observatory. Visiting Summit One Vanderbilt is a breath of fresh air. Think of your earliest memory of seeing the New York City skyline, combine it with the feeling of floating on air, and you might come close to experiencing the Kenzo Digital art installation called “Air.” The immersive multi-sensory and multi-floor experience begins to build up in the lobby tunnel, but the anticipation never seems to stop. You get whisked up to the 91st floor by a mirrored elevator, accompanied by colorful flashing lights. The much-talked about Original Immersive Van Gogh experience is back by popular demand. In case you missed it the first time, make sure to book yourself a ticket for December stat. New York’s Immersive Van Gogh installation will go on for all of December and end on January 2nd. What makes this exhibit worth visiting? The Dutch master we know and love has always been celebrated and loved for his moving work and complex mind, but the creators of Immersive Van Gogh bring you even closer to feeling what Van Gogh might have felt while painting. From beginning to end it is a rollercoaster of Van Gogh’s brilliance, beauty and madness. Upon entering you will see cutting-edge interactive elements created by David Korins. The designer Massimiliano Siccardi, along with soundtrack creator Luca Longobardi, pioneered immersive digital art experiences in France.
